How and Who does Born Anew Help?

image4.jpg - 9575 Bytes Born Anew was incorporated on June 28, 1989 as a 501(C) (3) organization. The primary purpose of this organization is to provide assistance to the alcohol and drug addicted individuals and to help them, once again, become productive responsible members of the community.

In Palm Beach County alone, 4000 beds are needed for the homeless. Approximately 85% of these indigent and homeless people are alcoholics and drug addicts. The result is, these unproductive citizens cost the county millions of tax dollars, health care, and crime that is devastating to the community. Obviously, the "human" cost factor is immeasurable.

image5.jpg - 7923 Bytes In addition to helping alcohol and drug addicted individuals, Born Anew also helps the city. The program is more cost effective than incarceration and assists people in getting off the street, increases a tax base of responsibility and decreases cost to our criminal justice system. The results of these services are overwhelmingly positive for the individual and the community. After entering the program, Born Anew clients often return to their families gainfully employed, can become volunteers in institutions helping those who need assistance in turning their lives around to a clean, sober lifestyle. These recovering individuals become service oriented, helping the community rather than service dependent. The focus of Born Anew is

"People Helping People".

I believe there are two kinds of people in the recovery world:

  1. The people who want to help the alcoholic and/or drug addict that want to help themselves, and has a way to do it.
  2. The people that want to help the alcoholic and/or drug addict that want to help themselves and feel they don't know how.

The people that want to help the alcoholic and/or drug addict is Born Anew Corporation. The cost of taking these people off the streets and out of jail is overwhelming. It cost approximately $1000.00 a month to help a single person find a new way of life.

The people that want to help the alcoholic and/or drug addict and has no idea how. HERE IS HOW. Start talking about Born Anew and organizations like ours. I know there are a lot of organizations like ours and most of us are doing our best to provide a safe, clean and sober home for our families. Yes, we are a family here at Born Anew. Why don't you and your friends get together and Help us help others.

To the corporate world:

I know that there is a lot of Red Tape when it comes to getting help from you. Do you know that every day you waste talking about helping YOUR workers that have trouble with drugs/alcohol, there is thousands and thousands of dollars payed out for health problems caused by abuse of drugs and alcohol. What about the property damage? That totaled truck, the computer, etc.. You know what I mean.

Your Corporation could start helping Born Anew by giving us a small amount of $12,000 and this will help Twenty Six people come in our program in one year. That is just $461.53 to change a persons life for the rest of his life. These people will find out the feeling of recovery and recognize the meaning of the word responsibility. The people in your Corporation would be proud to be part of this project. If you would like for me to come and talk to your people I would love to share about Born Anew.

Better yet, have them contact us on our web-site.
