Substance Abuse Recovery Residential Program
Phase 3   Orientation

You have now successfully completed Phase I and Phase II of our program here at "The House". A 12-Step Program is now fully implemented into your daily life, and the willingness to continue to grow free of alcohol and drugs has been determined.

In this phase, your living quarters will also change. The rules to which you have adhered over the past 60 days will change. It is essential, however, that your attitude does not change.

Your success up to this point, by no means establishes your "CURE", or makes you "WELL". Remember: THIS IS A LIFE TIME COMMITMENT!

Upon acceptance by the current residents of the third phase and the staff, you will be moved into the final phase of our program here at "The House". It is critical for you to realize that this phase is preparing you to re-enter society, and to become that productive member that you want to be. With this in mind, the following will apply to you, and will be monitored continuously by your roommates and staff:

  1. You may enter and leave the complex at your one discretion. There are no time limits which you must adhere to (communication with your roommates is essential).
  2. You will be considerate towards the other residents of the Third Phase. If you are not going to be home, or if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, let the staff and your roommates know.
  3. You will be required to attend three AA or NA meetings per week. You will also attend the regular Wednesday night House Meeting, as well as the 8:30 PM meeting at "The House".

This is a unanimous decision on behalf of "The House". We expect you to excel in leadership and responsibility. This is the final Phase of your stay here at "The House", and if we can help to make your transition back into society any easier, PLEASE ASK.
