"The House" Rules

  1. The following are grounds for immediate dismissal:
    1. Use or possession of alcohol or drugs
    2. Having prescription drugs no O.K.'d by the Resident manager
    3. Fighting
    4. Stealing
    5. Lying to staff
    6. Failure to submit to an Alcohol/drug test
    7. Smoking in unauthorized smoking areas
    8. Having sexual activity on the premises
    9. Missing any meetings as a Phase I resident

  2. A daily 8:30 PM meeting either AA or NA is required. you MUST stay in the meeting from the opening Serenity Prayer to the closing with the Lord's Prayer. ALL Phase I residents are required to go with the van for the first 30 days or more depending on your progress. All residents MUST be in the van by 7:55 PM.

  3. All residents will attend the Wednesday night house meeting at 7:00 PM followed by the 8:30 AA meeting. The regular Wednesday night house clean-up is at 9:45 PM. You MUST be on time for all of the above. No resident is to leave the facility after the 8:30 meeting until clean-up is complete.

    RESIDENTIAL CLEANING TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
    Sunday - 7:00 AM
    Wednesday - 9:45 PM

  4. If you move out or are dismissed from Born Anew for ANY reason, all moneys are forfeited.

  5. Rent is due on Friday between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Everyone must report to the office regardless of ability to pay. All residents are required to bring UNCASHED pay checks to the office. 75% will be deducted until such time that all moneys owed to Born Anew are paid in full.

    Any resident paid on any day except Friday are required to turn in all moneys due on the day of pay. All records will be balanced on the Friday following the day you are paid.

  6. If you are unable to pay the required entrance few, and are unemployed, you are required to work around the facility for the first 10 working days.

  7. All Phase I and Phase II residents will be in their house by 10:55 PM. All doors will be locked at 11:00 PM. ANYONE leaving after the doors are locked will be dismissed at once.

  8. All radios are to be turned off by 11:00 PM.

  9. All light are to be turned off by 12:00 midnight.

  10. NO lending, borrowing or selling of ANYTHING to ANYONE.

  11. Visiting hours are as follows:
    • Saturday - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Sunday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  12. NO TV before 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday.

  13. Eating is permitted at the dining table, outside gazebo and patio areas only. No cups, glasses, dishes or silverware are to be taken out of these areas at any time.

  14. Absolutely no one is allowed in your room unless you are present.

  15. All personal items are to be kept in your room in you designated area only.

  16. All rooms must be kept clean; beds made and room organized at all times.

  17. Personal hygiene inclusive to daily showers and clean clothes is a must.

  18. All telephone calls are limited to 10 minutes ONLY. No calls in or out of the facility after 10:30 PM. Abuse of this privilege shall result in loss of phone privileges.

  19. When moving out before your commitment time, you must pay Born Anew any outstanding moneys within 5 days. No personal belongings will be returned until these obligations are met. All belongings not picked up within this time frame shall be dispersed of at Born Anew's discretion.
    THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

  20. Any personal or work transportation provided by Born Anew shall cost $2.50 one way, $5.00 round-trip.

  21. Management will assist in any means possible, but failure to follow these simple rules shall result in your dismissal from Born Anew.
